Tele & Web Conferencing For TEAM Particpants
The WEBEX service that will allow Queen's TEAM particpants to share powerpoint presentations and applications (i.e. simulators, spreadsheet, your desktop, anything) over the web, with clients who are behind corporate firewalls. Although WEBEX has audio, the combination of our polycom speaker phone and WEBEX will allow you to communicate with your clients extremely effectively. You may use webex from any Internet connected PC or laptop (including your own) by downloading the java applet from the webex website. I suggest you try it out from home or in the computer cluster.
WEBEX
You can send out email invitations to attend a meeting in the future, or start and instant meeting and have them join the meeting immediately. These instructions will show you how to create an instant meeting and have people join. When you know what you're doing, the whole process takes less than 5 minutes.
Downloadable instructions that you can also email to your clients (link).
