All tests, quizzes and exams are closed book.
Assignments: There will be 6-8 problem sets handed out during tutorials over the course of the term, a number of which will be handed in for marking.
Three quizzes (approximately weeks 5, 8and 11) will be held during class or tutorial period. Tentative dates are:
Quiz 1: TBD-- About Week 5
Quiz 2:: TBD-- About Week 8
Quiz 3: TBD-- About Week 11
IMPORTANT:
Passing CHEE Courses: It is Departmental Policy that: Students must pass the individual examination component (comprised of quizzes, midterms and the final exam) of a course to receive a passing grade. If a student does not pass the individual examination component, he/she will fail the entire course and be allocated a mark of 47% or his/her actual mark, whichever is lower.
